My degree (B.S.) is in ME, but I've been a software engineering for the past 25 years. More recently I've transitioned to management, but still have my hands in many software projects. Most of this experience has been in the Semiconductor Equipment sector at start-ups where my expertise has been in hardware/software integration. This has spanned writing software to make robots move and telescopes track stars, to writing device drivers for embedded systems, to productizing prototypes into commercial systems. I've held various roles ranging from individual contributor to team and project lead, and now in management as a senior director. I have solid skills in the areas of problem solving, team/project management and logistics, and a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and disciplines with ease.
